Honey butter brioche rolls are soft, fluffy homemade dinner rolls brushed with sweet honey butter for a perfect side dish to any dinner. They can be made in just one bowl, and use simple ingredients you probably have already in your kicthen!

Info and tips for honey butter brioche rolls

  • Use room-temperature ingredients: Room-temperature eggs, milk, and butter incorporate more easily into the dough, helping create a smooth, tender brioche.
  • Knead until smooth and elastic: Brioche dough can be sticky because of its high butter content. Continue kneading until the dough becomes stretchy and passes the windowpane test.
  • Allow enough time to rise: Let the dough rise until doubled in size. Rising times will vary depending on the temperature of your kitchen.
  • Brush with honey butter while warm: Brushing the rolls while they’re still warm helps the honey butter melt into the tops, creating a soft, glossy finish.
  • Store leftovers properly: Keep the cooled rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Warm them briefly before serving for the best texture.
