Info and tips for lemon garlic butter shrimp pasta

Here are some tips to make the best pasta!

  • Be very careful not to burn the garlic! Garlic can burn super easily and does not have a good flavour. Keep the heat low and have the pasta water ready to go so there is no rushing.
  • Only cook the shrimp 1-2 minutes on each side. Shrimp cook incredibly fast, and overcooking them will make them tough.
  • Pasta water is the secret ingredient in this recipe. It helps emulsify the sauce and turns the lemon and butter silky. Add it slowly while stirring to help it naturally start to coat the pasta.
  • To make this dish feel even more fancy you can top with parmesan, fresh herbs, lemon zest, and more red pepper flakes!
