Info and tips for hot honey gochujang salmon
This recipe uses gochujang which is a Korean condiment. Gochujang is a thick red paste made from gochugaru (dried chili flakes), glutinous rice, fermented soybeans, and some other ingredients. It has a deep red colour with a spicy umami flavour. You can usually find it in the international aisle of most grocery stores, but sometimes you may have to look for it at asian grocery stores.
If you don’t have an air fryer you can cook this in the oven as well. Just increase the cook time to around 20 minutes (if you have a thicker piece it may take longer). Every oven and air fryer is different so please keep an eye on your salmon so it doesn’t become over cooked.
