My Creator Income Report: 2024 will tell you all about my third year as a food blogger and content creator. I’ll go into detail about exactly how much I made, and what I learned along the way.
The purpose
I write these income reports in hopes to inspire you and offer guidance so that you can follow your dreams too. My journey isn’t about “how I got rich quick”, it is a slow steady burn consisting of hard work and a passion for this business. I assure you with a combination of faith, passion, consistency, you will succeed.
The background
I have been working on Kenna’s Cooks for about three years now. My journey began in 2021 when I wanted to learn how to make money online. That desire has now turned into my own business and raging passion that I devote time to every single day. If you haven’t already read my First Year as a Blogger and Influencer I recommend you read it to understand where I began.
This year was very difficult for me. I faced many hardships and traumas (and still am) that I won’t go into detail about. I also transitioned from part time to full time with my business. What was supposed to be just a summer of creating content for Kenna’s Cooks turned into me dropping out of college. This wasn’t originally my plan, but I decided to create as much content as I could with the time that had been given to me.
You will notice a drastic increase in the revenue I made this year because of the transition from part time to full time creator in May. I also got accepted into Mediavine which significantly increased the passive income my website generates. This year was a fundamental building block for my business, but my mental health was suffering. Kenna’s Cooks became a lifeline for me. It became a way for me to quietly build a better future for myself.

My creator income report: 2024
I have two main income streams: the money I make passively from my website (blogging revenue) and brand deals (sponsored content).
Blogging Revenue: Woooo this year I got accepted into mediavine! I can’t say enough good things about them. They were so incredibly helpful with the setup process and transition. I make significantly more with Mediavine as opposed to Google Adsense because I get paid based on sessions rather than ad clicks. Once you reach the threshold I immediately recommend applying to Mediavine.
Sponsored Content: This year I was able to really start landing some collaborations with larger brands. I also joined a talent agency. Basically it’s a fancy way of saying I have a manager who manages my emails, brand deals, invoices… stuff that needs a lot of computer time to get done. I thrive in creative environments, which is not reading emails or creating invoices. Having a manager who takes those tasks off my shoulders gave me even more freedom to do what I really love: creating!
The conclusion
This year was kind of crazy in different ways, but I am really proud of myself for pushing through it all regardless. I progressed this year by hitting many of my goals or even surpassing them! I learned so much this year, but also experienced burnout and loneliness. Make sure you remember to actually live the life you’re trying to build! I’m super motivated to keep pushing forward and growing even more into 2025.

- Grow my Instagram and Tiktok accounts to 250K
- Post long form content on YouTube and grow to 10K subscribers
- 100K in revenue
- Beat my top record of 16M views
- Maintain at least 2 brand deals a month
- Make a digital product or course
