Strawberry banana chia pudding is a great way to start your day with nutrients. These chia seed puddings are perfect to make in advance and eat throughout the week, and are loaded with fiber, healthy fats, and improve digestion.
Info and tips
Chia seeds are a bit of a superfood. I really enjoy them because they are delicious as a breakfast, snack, or dessert, but you also get all the added benefits. Chia seeds are filled with fiber, fatty acids, and antioxidants. It also promotes healthy digestion and detoxification.
When making the pudding make sure to stir well. You want to break up any clumps that form in the initial 10 minutes. If you feel like the pudding isn’t thick enough, you can add another tbsp of chia seeds. Keep in mind that it does take at least 2 hours before it thickens, but overnight is the best.
You can add whatever ingredients you want to chia seed pudding. Add your favourite milk whether its dairy or plant based. You can change up the sweetener by adding syrup instead. And of course toppings are completely up to you. You can blend the banana and strawberry like me, or you can add a completely different fruit.
As a side note I also added 1 tbsp of sea moss to the strawberry banana chia seed pudding. Sea moss is another ingredient that is high in nutrients. It builds your immune system, boosts energy, and promotes healthier skin, hair, and nails. You can find it on Herbal Vineyards website, I also have a 20% discount code McKenna20 if you choose to give it a try!
