Air fryer Thai chicken skewers are ridiculously easy to make for how good they taste. This recipe features tender marinated chicken skewers air fried until charred, and brushed with a Thai peanut sauce.
Info and tips for air fryer Thai chicken skewers
If you use bamboo skewers for this recipe then make sure you are soaking them in water for 15-30 minutes before placing them in the air fryer. This helps make sure they don’t burn.
You can use chicken breast, chicken thighs, or a mix of both for this recipe. Personally I used chicken breast. When marinating the chicken overnight is best, but if you don’t have the time, 30 minutes will do. Make sure you flip your skewers at the halfway point when air frying. This will help ensure the chicken cooks through evenly and you get a nice char on both sides.
If you don’t like spice, skip the chili paste in the peanut sauce. I served the kebobs with some rice and fresh cucumber slices and it was delicious. Feel free to serve these with your favourite sides.

This is the Ninja Air Fryer I use. It has a ton of space and 3 different trays for your food with many cooking modes.
